"Since moving to the area four years ago, we have boarded our cat at the Gold Coast Tweed Pet Resort four or five times a year, sometimes for up to three months.The owners of the resort are helpful and friendly, and obviously enjoy dealing with animals. Our cat has an ongoing health problem and they are always happy to deal with her medication if needed. The animals are kept in excellent conditions, and we wouldn’t consider looking anywhere else for boarding."

"We recently left our beloved Golden Retriever Jack with the Resort for 10 days. Jack is aging rapidly and we were afraid he wouldn’t be there when we came home from our trip. Luckily he was there ready and waiting for us, even ran to greet us when we went to pick him up – or at least wobbled to meet us! The best part was that he then left us to go and sit with Mal, obviously a sign of being happy there. Before we left we were helped with making arrangements “in case” the inevitable happened, which was much appreciated.

Hopefully Jack will return to the Resort when we have to leave him again. We would be more than happy any time he needs accommodation away from home, to transport him there. They love him and he loves them."

"Hi, my name is Gus and I am an energetic 3 year old chocolate lab that had a tough start to life but now have new owners that love me to bits. I have just come back home after having been lucky enough to win the 'Pamper Package' donated by the kind folk of the Gold Coast pet resort at a recent RSPCA Paws Walk day and I feel great!! I was treated to massages, play, walks, treats and something called Reiki! Don't know much about that stuff but boy I came home to my owners feeling more relaxed, less stressed and happier than ever before. Thankyou so much to Kelly and all the gang."

"During the last year we have left our most treasured pet, Grommet, at the Gold Coast Tweed Pet Resort three times.  Twice we left him for periods of 5-7 days and just recently we left him for 3 weeks while we travelled overseas. He was well cared for, given lots of love and attention and thoroughly enjoyed the company of the other dogs and puppies.  He returned to us all freshly bathed and brushed. As we travel quite frequently on business, mainly short trips, and once a year on our annual vacation, we have no hesitation leaving Grommet in the care of the Resort knowing the staff do a wonderful job, and would recommend their services to anyone who loves their pet as much as we do."

" I love visiting Carol and Malcolm and all the other wonderful people at the Pet Resort. My Dad and Mum feel a bit miffed that I hardly even say goodbye to them when we arrive at Cabarita, I am so happy to be there. I get well fed, and walked, they even remember to give me my tablets. I go home looking great after the groomers have finished, so I even get an extra treat from Mum and Dad for being so handsome.I like being able to have some extra friends for a while too. The time seems to whiz by even when I visit the Pet Resort of a month. I have to say that my humans also like being able to drop me at Beenleigh rather than always driving down to Cabarita. I will be telling all my friends to come back so we can play more."

"My Mum said that I could write a testimonial all by myself as I love going to see Kelly and Wayne at the Pet Resort. Everyone spoils me rotten and gives me heaps of attention. Me a Golden Retriever loves that, everyone knows. I start to make my whining noise as soon as I turn into the gate because I am so excited to be back to my second home. I have fun all day long playing and eating. My Mum and Dad love me even more when they pick me up as my coat looks beautiful, and are thrilled to have me back in their lives again. I never put on weight and cannot wait to return. I have not visited GCTPR this year as my Mum and Dad are so busy and have to go away a lot separately, so someone always stays at home with me. Our circumstances are to change again and back I will come. Yes!!! Bring it on! They used to get dog sitters for me but they feel I am much safer with you guys."

"When collecting our border collie, Billie from the pet resort for the first time, we were a bit concerned about how she would be as she suffers from separation anxiety. My husband collected her from the kennels whilst I paid for the visit in the office. Billie came racing across the car park towards me but instead went straight for the owner of the resort. At first I was a bit put out, but then I realised how good it was. She obviously thoroughly enjoyed her visit and didn’t miss us much at all!
